Yeshua said, "Yes, indeed! I tell you that whoever hears what I am saying and trusts the one who sent me has eternal life — that is, he will not come up for judgment but has already crossed over from death to life!" CJB
Whoever HEARD what Yeshua was saying and trusted the one who sent Yeshua had eternal life — that is, he did not come up for judgment but had already crossed over from death to life!
That is how they attained eternal life and did not come up for judgement; by trusting the one who sent Yeshua!.
Selah! Do you understand what that says? That is scripture folks. Not church tradition, but scripture!!
Do you worship the father that Yeshua is speaking of as the one who sent him or do you ignore the father who sent Yeshua and worship Yeshua only?
Do you not understand that Yeshua's sacrifice for atonement was done in order to bring us closer to the father?
As a Jewish believer who was a strong believer in the God of Israel from the age of four years old, I yearn for more corporate worship that worships him.
I can somewhat understand Christians not often separating the father from the son, but I would say to my tribe members who are believers in Yeshua, grab onto your roots and don't assimilate into a foreign religion created by people of the nations.
We are supposed to be the light to the nations.
If they don't have light, what do they have?
Is that what you want?
Is that what our father, the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, wants for us?
How about a little Jewish/Church mixture?
Is that good and acceptable?
In the close words of a good friend of mine.... They were supposed to join us... not us join them. Did G-d ever bless our assimilation into other cultures??
A challenge... Next time you are in a worship service, LISTEN to the words... Do they REALLY line up with the Tanakh and Brit Chadasha? Do they worship the Father or do they infer that Yeshua is the Father?
